About the Facilitator 

Rob Gorham is a workplace educator and consultant, with an extensive background and expertise in both new digital media and traditional media.

He has taught digital marketing, online technologies, ecommerce, and related fields to numerous business groups, including the Halifax Chamber of Commerce, Centre for Women in Business, Black Business Initiative, Family Business Atlantic and Village on Main.

Rob spent 25 years as a journalist in both print and broadcast, working as a newspaper journalist, editor, and bureau chief for The Halifax Herald, and as a freelance broadcaster with CBC Radio.

Following his journalism career, in 2007 Rob co-founded Eclipse Media Inc., a digital agency, as a partner and executive producer, assisting hundreds of companies in developing their online presence.

In 2018, Rob turned his attention to teaching as a workplace educator but remains a senior consultant to Eclipse Media, and a private consultant to other businesses.

Rob is a strong believer in professional development, studying media and brand advertising through the University of Waterloo, business operations at Mount Saint Vincent University, along with completing workplace education courses in communications, coaching, social media, and project management. Rob is an avid researcher of emerging technologies and digital media trends.

Begins Thursday, September 30th, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, 12 consecutive weeks on Thursdays.  This will be an online workshop and a login code will be provided once participants are registered.
